Truly Scrumptious Designer Cakes were crowned Cake Designers of the Year 2010 at the ‘Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier’ (VOWS) Awards in November. Paul Bradford set up his own cake design business in June 2002 after working as a confectioner with a bakery in Linlithgow. With help from PSYBT he set up a studio which he rented from the bakery. Due to the high quality of his designs and craftsmanship, orders started coming in and Paul realised his studio was too small to cope with demand so moved to larger premises.
Since starting his business, Truly Scrumptious Designer Cakes have won many Awards, including the Internationally recognised ‘Les Disciple Escoffier Award’. This Award is only presented to elite cuisine craftsmen and Paul received it after travelling to Taggia in Italy to a lead specialist training session. He had been invited to share his skills after making a cake for a VIP in Monte Carlo in 2008, and was amazed and delighted by the prestigious audience at the event.
This is the sixth year in a row that Truly Scrumptious have been nominated at the VOWS Awards, which recognise excellent customer service in the wedding industry.
