  • BT Awards 2012

    The annual BT Scotland Young E-ntrepreneurs Awards, which are organised by  PSYBT, seek to recognise visionary PSYBT entrepreneurs who have benefitted from BT Scotland funding and gone on to grow their businesses with the help of e-commerce.


    Inspired to set up their own business by the continuing lack of career prospects for graduates, Michael Brown (24) and his business partner Daniel Jones (24), established their online take-away service, http://www.scoffable.com in 2010 during their final year at Heriot Watt University.

  • Brewdog - YBI People's Choice Award

    Youth Business International (YBI) are running The Entrepreneur of the Year People’s Choice Award. This award is for the entrepreneur who receives the largest share of the public vote based on a short case study and a one minute video. Last year's Peoples Choice awards generated thousands of votes.

PSYBT Awards

Shoe designer Emily Lamb has been nominated for a Scottish Variety Award under the ‘Best new Scottish Artist or Designer’ category. Emily was funded by PSYBT in 2010 and her hand made shoes have been very well received by those in the fashion industry. After Graduating from Cordwainers, part of the London College of Fashion which specialises in footwear, she decided to launch her own collection, ensuring every creation was unique with their own original feature and pattern.
