Anna Devitt was funded by PSYBT in 2010 to pursue her dream of being a stand up comedian. That dream became reality when Anna, from Erskine, appeared in front of four million viewers on Lee Mack’s All Star Cast Show. Contestants have just 15 seconds to come up with something original that can entertain the nation. Anna unveiled ‘Truffel’, a singing and wise-cracking character painted on her stomach. She won the competition which was judged by Fern Cotton and Frank Skinner and subsequently made it on to the show the following week to appear in front of a new panel of judges.
Anna has been using Truffel in her stand-up routine for a few years now; it involves her stomach singing songs and giving everyone ‘a bit of banter’. She won the competition 3 weeks running and now hopes that her appearance on prime time TV will take her stand-up routine to a new level.
