Paul Bradford of Award winning cake designers Truly Scrumptious, has asked pupils from local primary schools in and around Linlithgow to design their own royal wedding cupcake to mark the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William.
Paul was funded by PSYBT in 2008 and since then has won many awards and is now one of Britain’s most well respected cake designers. Paul decided to get involved in the Royal Wedding fever, realising that many people would be paying particular attention to the couples of choice of cake as well as Kate’s dress!
More than 1500 children will have the opportunity to design their unique cupcakes and Paul will judge the winning creation. He says “What better way to get involved with the local community but to launch our own competition, giving the children the chance to stretch their imaginations that little bit further and design their very own royal wedding cupcake?’ The winning design will be baked and sold in The Cupcake Café in West Lothian.
