The PSYBT Volunteer Conference 2011, which is sponsored by ScottishPower,is taking place on May 10th at Perth Concert Hall.
PSYBT has held regular Volunteer Conferences over the last 10 years, aiming to give the dynamic extended PSYBT ‘family’ an opportunity to share experiences and enhance their skills to benefit their support and interaction with the young entrepreneurs that we work with throughout Scotland. The Conference offers unrivalled networking opportunities for volunteers, clients, supporters, staff and partners alike.
This year, enthusiastic and inspiring young entrepreneurs will again contribute to a lively and engaging ‘PSYBT marketplace’ on the day – displaying their wares, promoting their services, talking informally of their experiences in business and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
We are delighted that the Conference is being supported again by ScottishPower who are a member of the HRH The Duke of Rothesay's Mayday Network which helps businesses work towards a sustainable future.
The theme of the Conference is “Sustainability” and the event will run from 0930 through until 1530. The day will include a presentation by ScottishPower along with interactive themed workshops, hosted by volunteers, on popular topics including Sales & Marketing and Social Media. Our very own PSYBT Ambassador Fred Macaulay will host the event whilst the keynote address will be given by top Scottish business woman Julie Grieve.
Over 100 volunteers have already confirmed their intention to attend the event and any PSYBT volunteers still wishing to reserve a place should contact [email protected]or telephone Pauline on 0141 243 5366.
