Public sector supporters

PSYBT plays a significant role in ensuring that resources are always available to help those young people with the imagination, energy and determination to start their own business. One of the unique features of PSYBT is the way in which the organisation brings together a mix of public and private sector supporters alongside individual donors and volunteers.

In Scotland we are fortunate to have a most supportive enterprise network and PSYBT has benefited from significant support from Scottish Enterprise and from the European Structural Funds programme in Scotland.

Partnerships

• Scottish Enterprise A major supporter of PSYBT is Scottish Enterprise, Scotland’s main economic development agency funded by the Scottish Government. Scottish Enterprise contribute invaluable core support to PSYBT and provide a wide range of resources for anyone about to start a business or grow an existing one.
• Highlands & Islands Enterprise We also understand the challenges facing young entrepreneurs in remoter parts of the country. Our relationship with Highlands & Islands Enterprise, Highland Opportunity Ltd and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is therefore vital in enabling us to provide support across the whole country.
• European Regional Development Fund PSYBT benefits from the support of the Lowlands and Uplands Scotland European Regional Development Fund Programme which contributes to the costs of providing a package of assistance to young people in the Lowlands and Uplands Scotland area.
