Nick Cohen - Paisley Regional Ambassador

Nick Cohen began trading as a sole trader in computer repairs at the age of 13. Operating in the domestic repair market for several years, he decided to diversify and infiltrate the contract maintenance market. This involved carrying out thorough competitor research so that he could differentiate his product from his competitors and offer something unique.

In July 2009, he launched PCR Computer Services Ltd. Trading from new premises with bespoke facilities.  He has since opened another store on Glasgow's High Street.

He is also no stranger to Awards, and was a finalist in the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce ROCCO Business Awards for “Most Promising Business 2009” and has been nominated as one of the finalists by the Sunday Times Young Scot Awards for the “Enterprise” Award.  He was also one of the National finalists in the PSYBT Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2011.

Keen to promote enterprise and the work of PSYBT, Nick became a PSYBT Regional Ambassador in 2011; a role which sees him working closely with PSYBT to inspire young people in his community and local schools into self-employment.
