PSYBT is now Youth Business Scotland, part of The Prince's Trust. We are currently reviewing all of our branding and marketing materials – please bear with us as we introduce these changes. United, we are Scotland's leading youth organisation; supporting more young people into jobs, self–employment, training, education and volunteering. You can also visit www.princes-trust.org.uk
CLOSE XBill joined the panel of Aftercare Advisers in Grampian at the suggestion of a friend a number of years ago and in this time has made a great contribution to the Trust. He has had a varied career, from RAF pilot and Civilian Instructor at RAF Kinloss, to running a mini supermarket and guesthouse. Bill does not take his role as aftercare adviser lightly, he gives everything he's got to the business he is supporting. His advice is sought, and listened to; some even feel he becomes an integral part of their business. In addition to being an aftercare adviser, Bill also sits on panels. He likes the many varied businesses that come through the PSYBT doors and admires those who are willing to follow their dream, like he did when he joined the RAF. He tries to sit on as many panels as possible, giving sound advice and listening to client's aspirations. He also likes to follow up from the panel and hear how businesses are getting on and offers support where he can.
Bill's background and work experience means that he is well prepared to help young people on their way to success and his patience and willingness to give freely of his time and experience make him an ideal volunteer.
When not helping PSYBT, Bill likes digital photography and website creation. He is a keen sailor and has his own boat. He also makes an attempt to keep fit by swimming – hopefully not by capsizing whilst out on the boat!
