Welcome to PSYBT in West Lothian where we are passionate about helping you to start up and continue in business.

In West Lothian we are unashamedly upbeat and positive about our local economy. West Lothian is Scotland's First Capital of Enterprise and a great place to start up in business.

The new West Lothian local plan provides a forecast for developments worth £1.5 billion over the next 15 years. A local futures league table, recording each of Britain's districts, places enterprise activity in West Lothian at number 12, the only Scottish district to make the top 20. This performance has been assessed by using the rate at which new businesses are formed, long term business growth over the last 10 years and business survival rates.

Put simply West Lothian is a superb business location, at the centre of Scotland's economic web and with the potential to contribute significantly to a highly skilled, prosperous and dynamic Scottish economy. The county is located between the two major population centres of Edinburgh and Glasgow and is Scotland's fastest growing area.

PSYBT is part of the West Lothian Economic Partnership which is charged with developing the economy and promoting sustainable economic growth.
