The Region
In the Glasgow region Fiona Gilchrist, Regional Manager, and Claire Hart, Regional Assistant, help young people who want to start or grow their business to access the support, advice, training and funding that PSYBT and our partners can offer.

Our Chairman, Brian Hunter, heads up our team of 90 volunteers who assess clients' funding applications and who provides ongoing support to clients once they are trading.  To find out more about PSYBT in Glasgow, contact Fiona on 0141 572 8370, 07917 398 864 or email glasgow@psybt.org.uk.

Elevator

Elevator is a monthly networking event for young people who are already in business or who are thinking about it.  The events offer training and presentations on a variety of business topics and provide the opportunity to meet like minded individuals and potentially do a bit of business.  The events are informal, entertaining and most of all fun!

"Elevator is an excellent networking event, not only to gain knowledge and make business contacts but also to find a support network of young like-minded entrepreneurs.  Plus it's really fun and there's free food and drink - what more could you ask?"
Caroline Melville, Virtually Sorted, www.virtuallysorted.com

"I've been involved in Elevator since I started up 5 years ago - I always get something valuable from attending the monthly events, whether that's inspiration or advice from another ambitious young business, or new contacts from the informal networking sessions. And it's free!"
David Kelly, David Kelly Design Office, www.dkdo.co.uk

"Just wanted to drop you an email to say thanks for sending me the info on the Elevator event. It was great and made so many fab contacts. Managed to even get some business, which was great!"
Rachel MacKay, Chantilly Lace, www.chantillylaceboutique.co.uk

The Next Event...
The next event  will take place on Monday 21st April in Sloans (just off Buchanan Street). For further details and event registration contact Fiona Gilchrist on 07917 398864 or 0141 572 8370, email glasgow@psybt.org.uk or keep an eye out for further information in the News section of this page.
